Q: I just sent you my resume via mail or e-mail. Now what?

A: Once we receive your resume we will reply with an acknowledgment as quickly as we can and (if applicable) search for matches between the information you have provided and existing/upcoming openings with our clients.

Here is a simplified breakdown of our employment process to aid in your job search planning.

We review your resume.
You may be invited for an interview with Global Personnel.
We refer your resume to a specific employment opportunity with a client or clients.
We notify you of your status as a candidate.
You interview next with the client.
The client makes a hiring decision.

Q: As a candidate, I've never used an employment agency as part of my job search. Are there any fees that I have to pay?

A: No, there are no fees that candidates pay. Although there are employment agencies out there that charge candidates a fee, we don't. We receive our compensation from the hiring company after successfully placing the candidate within that company.

Q: I'm looking for a new career but I'm getting disappointing results from my job search efforts. I reply with a cover letter and resume to classified ads in the newspaper but get no response. What am I doing wrong?

A: Probably nothing. The problem is that you and hundreds of other job seekers are responding to that same ad. The company's Human Resources department has to sift through the mountain of resumes and field endless phone calls that are generated from that single ad. This is costly and not very productive. A: You will find many, but not all of our positions posted here on our Web site. We try our best to update the job listing page on a daily basis. Many job openings are not posted because we can often fill them from our existing database of candidates.
